1.tesco pizza base ( we used both sachets)
then layer on a thinklayer of passata
2.grated cheese
3. bacon lumps and ham
4.then more cheese
box to mouth in 30 mins

delicious
and ds1 is having it cold for lunch tomorrow

or use pitta bread (toast or grill them before putting on the topping).

I use Napolina pizza bases, homemade tomato sauce with hidden vegetables and cheese. Always have sauce/bases/grated cheese in freezer ready to make pizzas on demand!

More details on the "homemade tomato sauce with hidden vegetables and cheese" please! how do you make it!

SoupDragon · 09/09/2004 19:51

1 can chopped tomatoes
1 large carrot
1 large courgette (peeled to get rid of tell tale green bits)
1 can sweetcorn (no added salt/sugar)
garlic, herbs, bayleaf

Simmer the lot in a frying pan until the carrots are soft, puree in blender until smooth. Freeze in ice cube trays for using later.

You can shove in any vegetables you like TBH. My last batch had a can of butter beans which was nearing the useby date. Green veggies aren't good as they're more noticable. The sauce isn't as red as unadulterated tomato sauce but my DSs have never noticed.

Cheese is grated on the top of the pizza! I tend to grate a whole block in the food processor and freeze it ready grated. I sprinkle it on still frozen. The pizza sauce does need to be thawed though or you can't spread it.

I'm just SO lazy!

no, you're impressively organised.

SoupDragon · 09/09/2004 21:27

I can assure you it's laziness

Another easy base for crispy pizza are flour torliaas, with grated cheese, tomato, etc. on top. But you have to keep your toppings light really not to overload the base or it'll break. Very very quick!!!
