Things you have found in your food?

Following on from the poo on the Tesco chicken and 'poisoned rice Krispies' threads, what have you found in your food, that wasn't supposed to be there?

Oil in a white sliced loaf: Piece of plastic in an M&S macaroni cheese: .
Stone in a Pret sandwich:

oh and a dried wasp inside a weetabix!

A live moth flew out of my cereal the other day, mmmm niiiiice!

Broken glass on a pizza that was delivered to me. I still ate most of it, I was starving!

A wooden cocktail stick in my Vogel bread.

In a well-known American diner type place, I found what looked suspiciously like a very dark thick pubic hair in my starter - yummy

Ceebee - I think you need to give us a bit of a clue as to where you were!

Also found a bit of a blue plastic sheet in some kind of 'meat' when I was eating in the Halls at university.

A false nail...in a loaf of bread...Marks and Spencers.

I once found a spent shotgun shell in a bag of organic salad greens. Didn't find it until I was eating the salad. I furiously called the company and was told that they have automatic machines that spray pellet shot over the fields to keep birds away! And that it works better than netting! They maintained that no pellets or shells ever got through the cleaning process but I had it in my hot hand. They sent me several vouchers, but I threw them away. Shooting the birds I can't support!

DH found half a fly in a packet of Nestle Cheerios (don't want to know where the other 1/2 went!) I wrote to Nestle (and sent the fly too!) and they grudgingly sent a voucher along with a letter, explaining what they had in the factory to prevent these things happening. By the tone of it, they almost implied that I'd put the fly in the cereal myself!

The only thing I've ever found was in Basmati rice from the asian store, it had worms in.
My SIL came to visit us once from Bangladesh and she brought popcorn to make (probably thought we didn't have it in Europe), we put it in our cupboard and one day I opened the cupboard to see hundreds of little beetle things crawling everywhere. She helped me clean it up and get rid of them all, had to throw all our cereal, oats and flour out. She still made the popcorn for her kids though.
