Didn't shut my freezer door properly

Must have left it in the morning before school, it was shut but not shut all the way if you know what I mean. Found it at tea time, slammed the door shut quick and didn't investigate the state of the food too closely although I know the bread was soft/defrosted.

Its a large 6ft tall freezer, do I risk the raw chicken, etc. Don't want to have to throw away all that food

I did that a few weeks ago, left it open overnight. I didn't chuck anything apart from a few lollies and icecreams. Icecream is vile if it defrosts. We survieved!

Well....it'll still have been cold! I'm sure it'll be fine, just make sure that you cook it well

would take the chicken out and fully defrost it and cook it if it was me. When I do vaguely risky chances with chicken I always end up in a tizzy worry hours after eating it.

Too late to take it out and cook it as have refrozen it now. And some of it is already cooked.

Will risk it, think I have a strong constitution.
