Is it too early in the day for chocolate cake?

DD1 woke up at her usual vile early time, and to cheer myself up I made chocolate cake for tea-time(the yum nigella one with the sour cream) It's nearly ready, and it's smelling gooooood......fortify me against standing in the corner with my back to my children, eating it from the tin with a spoon.

....well I'd be on thirdsies by now! After all when we were kids it would be almost time for elevenses so I now rename it 'thirdsies'!!!

....did you eat it all?

I have now. I am a disgusting food whore.

aaaahhhh.....rubbery prawn crackers....mmmm...now thats tasty. Unfortunately once they reach that rubbery stage they don't have that lovely fizzle on the tongue feel but they are still scrummy.
