all-bran cake - do I add an egg?

Mum makes a lovely all-bran cake - all-bran, fruit, sugar soaked in milk overnight. Did that last night. Just about to finish off and realise that there's no egg in the recipe I scribbled down. Make a similar one with weetabix, where you add egg and flour before cooking after soaking. Mum's on holiday so can't contact her. Anyone know?

don't think you do add egg, but could be mistaken. You can also use coconut milk to give it slightly different flavour

thanks - like the idea of coconut milk.

actually found the recipe on the internet (not sure why I didn't think to look there first!) You're right, no egg. And it's scrummy!
