How much fruit is too much? My dd seems to eat so much fruit at the moment and I have no idea about these things but is it possible to eat too much and if she doesn't eat many vegetables can the fruit make up what should be here veg portions??

I really don't know if that made any sense, but today dd has eaten

Loads of strawberries (cut up with her yogurt as part of her breakfast)
2 Satsumas
1 Apple
2 Big bowls of grapes

Now shes asking for another apple and it feels like she's eaten a ton of fruit today already.

how old is she?

thats only 6 portions - 1 more than recommended

She has just turned 2, can she have all of her daily fruit/veg portions in fruit then, because unless the veg is hidden ie in a sauce, soup etc it's difficult to get her to eat it

I wouldn't worry, so long as it doesn't cause nappy rash if she's still in them. Grapes do that to DD2. Both DD's love fruit. Can't complain.
