Dh bought one of AK's ready meals a while ago; dd took one mouthful and refused to eat any more.

So I tried a mouthful and yes it was rather salty tasting - and just generally horrible really.

No I hadnt noticed. I buy these sometimes because I thought she was all for the "natural" way of eating.

I've not tried any of her meals but have borrowed her cook book for some ideas when I start to make my own food for DS but I think I'll look at the recipe more closely to see what she's putting in them! Really glad I read this now!

I have just found a brand new new range of Organic food for children... with no added salt or sugar. It is called juniorganic and you can buy on line from an online organic shop Swaddles. Has anyone tried this?

After seeing your message I looked on the Swaddles website. I ordered just the Salmon with mash and the Pasta Bologenese. I thought they were delicious and DS and DD ate everything..I will certainly be buying more..thank you for finding this.

Hi All,

3 weeks into introducing solids to my 6month old DS,things are very slow.Barely sucking off spoon, might get about one teaspoon in after half hour. Trying fruit purees (homemade), have varied, but little success. Is it pretty normal that it is taking him so long to get into this solids business?

Thanks
