Portion sizes for a 6mo

How much should a 6mo be eating of solids?

I give him about 2 tablespoons of banana porridge for b/fast, a tablespoon of veg and a tablespoon of fruit for lunch and the same again for dinner (although sometimes add baby rice or porridge to dinner time fruit to bulk it up.)

He seems quite happy to eat to the end of the bowl but doesn't seem fussed when it is finished, although if I do go and get some more for him - he's happy to eat that too.

What's everyone else's experience?

It varies wildly - my ds would be satisfied with the same or less at that age, whereas dd ate 2-3 times as much, and I often stopped feeding her before she seemed satsified as I was worried she would make herself sick by eating so much! Go with the flow, he sounds fine for now, and will probably let you know when he is ready for more.
