Curry recipe for baby?

I keep seeing veg & chicken kormas etc. in jars and want to cook a very mild curry for my amazingly adventurous 7-month-old. I know I could doctor an 'adult' curry recipe by omitting the chillies etc. but would be happier with a recipe that I know has been tried on babies. Anyone know of such a thing? The closest I can find is the cumin-spiced cauliflower in Cooking For Coco, but I now cook all DS's meals for the 3 of us as a family, and I don't really fancy that myself!!

The baby organix website used to have the recipe for their Korma.

BABY ORGANIX VEGETABLE & COCONUT KORMA

METHOD

  1. Peel and chop 1 small onion and fry with a dessert spoon full of tomato puree, in a teaspoon of olive oil.

  2. Peel and chop one medium sized carrot and one small potato.

  3. Add to the frying pan with the onion and tomato and add 1 tablespoon of ready cooked butter beans.

  4. Add a pinch of ginger, cumin, tumeric and coriander, with 2 teaspoons of desiccated coconut.

  5. Add 4 tablespoons of water, bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes.

  6. Puree roughly or mash ? texture should be slightly lumpy.

  7. Add extra water if necessary.

I used to increase the ingredients and make a batch. Ah... I remember the days when DS1 would eat this sort of thing...

I used garam masala and a tiny bit of cumin and turmeric, mixed with a small portion of coconut milk and natural yoghurt, along with finely minced chicken and courgettes and mushrooms
DD adores this and now loves it with pita bread and rice!!

I do a chickpea one I adapted from one I got from a Tesco magazine - half an onion fried with pinches of ginger, cumin and coriander, tin of chickpeas, tin of tomatoes, tbsp of tomato puree, pint of low salt stock. Bubbling away for half an hour or so, then whizz in blender. DS2 loves it.
