Just made Marslady's Lemon drizzle cake in loaf and muffin form.
Muffins were spot on, but it was touch and go with the loaf for a while, was really brown on top but not cooked and took nearly an hour to cook .
All's well that ends well though, the cake came back from the brink, but I'm not sure I did it any favours by drizzling while still pretty warm - it's a bit soggy.
Proof of the pudding is in the eating though !
Just wanted to let you all know! And thanks Mars for a fab recipe! Think I will try a tray bake next time though.
