I have a beautiful cooker. It is currently being used to fry bacon for mac cheese.

posh or what.

Tutter · 18/06/2007 17:40

Tutter · 18/06/2007 17:41

but i will get organised

soon

i will be really good at it

ComeOVeneer · 18/06/2007 17:47

I have a really horrid kitchen. The oven and dishwasher don't work, the sink and tap are cracked stained and leak, and the fridge doesn't get cold enough and fills up with water at the bottom every couple of days. The floor tiles are also cracked. I would be proud to put a picture of it her .

But... in 6 weeks I will have a lovely new kitchen

nomdeplume · 18/06/2007 17:51

that kitchen isn;t posh or showy offy. Other than the rayburn aga thingy I can't see what is showy offy about it. Those look like bog standard grey formica type worktops to me. The units look like an MDF veneer too, not exactly £££££. Poor ole kickassangel.

yes, it is a nice kitchen, but I don;t think it looks 'flash'

Slubberdegullion · 18/06/2007 19:37

IMO, I think all our profiles should contain a formalised grouping of our favourite kitchen utensils. Would give you a better 'feel' to the poster than what they like watching on telly.

maybe a shot of their work surface, or type of flooring would be helpful too.

My kitchen's so old it's bound to come back into fashion anytime now - I call it vintage LOL

nomdeplume · 18/06/2007 20:26

retro, chippy, retro

ChippyMinton · 18/06/2007 20:44

I'm thinking vintage in a Cath Kidston/granny-ish faded chipped way, rather than cool glossy retro LOL. I'm quite attached to it

heifer · 18/06/2007 21:24

sh*t, I would have baked a cake if I had known, any excuse to show off my new kitchen..

Well, maybe their children aren't blessed in the looks department so they want to show off what does look good!

Not in my case obviously as my DD is the cutest of them all!

SMSmadeUCMBelieveWhiteRberries · 18/06/2007 21:29

My pics don't show any of my kitchen. I have a crappy roses tin and a wooden spoon (which was a bit of a 'had to be there to understand the joke'. My cake said it all - and cod said mine was best [ponce] [ponce] [ponce]......

SMSmadeUCMBelieveWhiteRberries · 18/06/2007 21:31

heifer come and join this weeks cupcake comp ...and you shouldn't moan you didn't know about it - there were 1200+messages about it

PinkMartini · 18/06/2007 21:33

PinkMartini · 18/06/2007 21:34
