Thyme .. flowers .. stoopid question .. do you cook them as well or take them off ?

Yep I know its the dullest question ever

But I've never cooked with it before (apart from dried) and now I have my lovely herb garden .. and my organic chicken is just sitting there .. waiting

please ??

what are you planning to do with the thyme? - if you are making stuffing, pick the leaves off the stalks and use them. If you are just chucking the sprigs into the cavity whole, use them with the flowers on

I am so glad you asked this as i have lemon tyme and didnt know if i could use it with the flowers on. Same for rosemary. What makes them flower?
