My sil is coming for lunch on sunday, the message I have is "she can only really eat chicken/turkey or fish and she cannot have dairy products, wheat (gluten) products, tomatoes, potatoes, spicy things etc etc........ "
So does any one with any experience have any recipes? I would be really grateful.

Hi I have crohn's - basically if you are having an attack you have to avoid anything fibrous. Personally I eat things like mashed potato, rice pudding etc. I avoid anything indigestible like onions, nuts, peppers, mushrooms, sweetcorn and most pulses.

I would ask her what she would like. I know I sometimes just want a meal replacement drink or something when I have an attack. In fact I have been known to turn up at dinners with my own food to avoid the hosts having to worry about me, maybe she could do that!
