What does An Aubergine Taste Like??

Dh bought a pack of 3 and I don't know what to do with them or what they taste like!

slice them thinnish lengthways, drizzle bit of olive oil on and grill them.

my childrens favorite is sice the aubergine, brush with olive oil, and grill until brown.
Place in an oven proof dish, cover with a tin of chopped tomatoes, sprinkle with italian herbs and the cover with parmesan.
Cook in oven until the cheese is brown and bubbling.

heaven if they are cooked with love and care, crap if not...

slice them thinly. Fry them gently with olive oil and garlic. then add passata or chopped tomatoes. put in on pasta, with some basil leaves and grated cheese (preferebly pecorino)

like Aubergine.................

Seriously.......it is a nice flavour.
