I read somewhere that making sure kids have enough protein is important and that it has a calming influence. The list of things she does eat is quite carb loaded, which might make her more jittery/energetic (in bursts)than she would normally be.

Tryptophan is also meant to be very good,it am amino acid which has sleep inducing qualities:

Hav e you looked at Jane Clarke's "Yummy" book with recipes and food advice for children? I don't have it but she is good on advice and it might be of use, you can get it on amazon.

...but they've done studies in prisons that show that a vegetarian diet (i.e. no animal protein) has a calming effect....

We have sessions once a month so will see if there is one of those soon or if I have to phone.

She is already under a paed but haven't seen him for a while.GP saw her a couple of weeks ago and she was very giddy then ,
'do you sleep here dr, is that your bed dr, are you the dr dr, mummy does the dr sleep here, mummy is that the drs bed , mummy is the dr the dr??????????????' we were there for my BP testing , no wonder it was high!

Haven't spoken to school recently but they usually say she is good, but they have tight rules as they know she sees the loop hole, she has been bothering dd1 at lunch times though.

Friend does homeopathy so thats an idea to ask her.
