Has anyone any suggestions for healthy breakfast cereals for a 13mth old - we've done poridde/ready-brek and wheatabix + fruit and all the baby cereals - what others would folks suggest? I like DS to have cereal as he isn't a great fan of milk so its a good way of getting some in him? Thanks for any suggestions!!

grape nuts - no added sugar
soak them for a while first as they can be quite hard at first

Thnaks all - I'm not a great cereal eater (a bit of a muslei muncher!) so your ideas are really useful

Make your own muesli - you can use whatever grains and dried/fresh fruit you like. Grind up the grains/flakes a bit if you prefer, or leave it coarse. Chop the fruit into whatever sizes your child can manage.
If you like you can soak the muesli overnight in milk or fruit juice.

You can also make a 'cereal box muesli' by just combining things like rice krispies, crumbled weetabix, and whatever else you like.

My 3 always liked malted wheats, although for little ones you might like to soak them a bit first to soften them.
