New food in the UK?

Haven't been back for a while and I'm coming back this summer for a couple of weeks and I'm sadly very excited about going shopping in a supermarket!!!!

What do you recommend? What's new? Reggae Reggae sauce is obviously somethign we've missed! Anything else?

McVities Heat & Treat cakes. Ikl bitty versions of Jamaica Ginger, Lemon sponge, chocolate sponge or golden syrup sponge you bung in the micro for 20 seconds. They've got yummy sauce in the middle.

sound nice, will look out for those. Anymore?

I'd just get yourself to the fruit and vege and snap up all the asparagus and raspberries!

But KitKat peanut butter flavour is good too!

There are new versions of chocolate digestives in butterscotch and caramel. Can't comment on the caramel but the butterscotch is vile. Avoid it.

Thanks for the advice about the biscuits - I won't be trying them!!

You aren't joking when it comes to fruit and veg janeite! I will be there buying up all the berries as we can't get many here (except frozen!!) And fresh fruit and veg too will be a luxury - it's a bit hit and miss here.

Any more suggestions?

Came back in Feb for a bit but was away all of the time and didn't "shop" as such. Haven't been supermarket shopping for about a year

Gu desserts (not so new, but some new lines...)
brownies, mousse, lemon cheese cake and (so new I haven't tried it yet) blueberry cheesecake

I think the digestives with caramel are GORGEOUS!! (Have't tried butterscotch)

Also a big fan of mini weetabix (not sure how long you've been away v how long they've been out)

Also if you're after REALLY new, hot off the presses, a product that hasn't even hit the stores yet but might be in by the time you're here - currently just sold online here. They are snackylicious apple crisps (aimed at kids but really yummy for mummies too).

Forgot dorset cereals - fab. I go for the high fibre one myself.

but you know JJ iread the back of the packs and the high fibre one has as much fibre as the others more or less.

I heart berries and cherries.
