Snack ideas for one year old

Hi.
Any ideas please for high fat/low sugar snacks for one year old whose weight has stalled. Generally only gets fruit, breadsticks or rice cakes between meals. Any snack ideas that won't be a complete disaster when he shreds them on the carpet would be really appreciated

Have you seen any of the Baby Organix stuff? They do really yummy cereal bars and other snacky things but without the rubbish - ie no sugar/salt/additives etc. They're all suitable for 12mths plus.

Their site is Goodies . If you sign up for emails etc, they'll send you samples and a pile of money off vouchers etc.

They are a little on the pricey side, but it's so rare to find anything junk free that I'm willing to fork out for something for a treat now and then. hth

try cheese scones, crumpets with butter, yoghurt coated raisens or teh odd fruit muffin. My DS now 13 months has been all these for finger foods for months. He also likes onion bhajis, celery sticks(these last ages)and orange segments. Toast with peanut butter is alos good but a little messier

Cheese. (Not so good carpet-wise, though.)

recipe I have for cheese scones makes them not too bad, the crumbs are a little messy though but a dirt devil takes seconds to clean it.

My two have both loved raisins, sultanas and all kinds of other dried fruit for snacks since quite young. Holland and Barrett do really nice mixtures too. Mine especially like dried pineapple, apricots, and apple rings. Although that's not so much high fat stuff.
You could try buttered toast fingers with something one them or a little sandwich.
Cheese. Olives (my kids adore these, esp black ones). Avocado slices. (Now I'm resorting to my toodler book). Little sausage rolls. Yoghurt or fromage frais. Toasted, buttered fruit loaf.
There's a few suggestions for you. Hope it helps.

Some great ideas, thanks a lot.
Meals been worse than ever today, even turning his nose up at fromage frais.
Just seen hot tip, vis getting three year old to feed one year old. Since I have one of each, might give it a go. Looking forward to breakfast tomorrow already....
Any chance of that recipe summermum?
