Do you know what I find is the best (I'm almost to admit it) but good old fashioned salad cream.

I just add it to the chopped cabbage, carrot, a bit of finely chopped onion, some black pepper and its lovely. It has that slight vinegary edge to it.

Its the only time I touch the stuff (salad cream that is)

i do the old cabbage, etc too but i use a mixture of mayonnaise and greek yogurt for a creamy texture.

I mix yogurt and mayo as well - also put some apple in the veg mix and a crushed garlic clove

caraway seeds are nice in it or toasted sunflower seeds.

what sort of yoghurt - live? and what sort of greek. I dont normally buy diary but i am trying to make things cheaper than to buy especailly when i know i wouldnt eat a whole cooked cabbage.
