Chili con carne - but with Tuna

This may sound odd, but can you make chili but with Tuna Fish?

I don't like chili, but DH, DS2 and DS3 do. Now DS3 is asking for chili made with tuna, and it sounds yuk to me, but don't know if this is because I don't like chili, or because it really is yuk, iykwim.

I make a pasta bake with tuna, add tin tuna to cooked pasta, passata/pasta sauce/ tom soup or similar? also add sweetcorn/peas or whatever you like and then put in chilli if you want, stir then layer of cheese. I just use the slicing part on grater. Bake for 1/2 hour or so until nice and brown on top. my kids love it

Can do it with corned beef too and omit chilli, add garlic do whatever you want?

Ulysees · 04/06/2007 16:38

you could add kidney beans instead of peas

unknownrebelbang · 04/06/2007 16:44

They like pasta bake, may try that with some kidney beans instead.

Thanks.
