What's the least revolting way of cooking liver?

OK, so I some lamb's liver which dh has begged me to cook for him. I don't cook liver very often (I'm veggie) and even then usually at arms length and screwing my nose up at it.

What's the least revolting way of cooking the stuff? It's no good suggesting that dh cooks tea; he would be guaranteed to use every pan in the kitchen and would forget to cook anything for me while he was at it!

Fio, that sounds ... just as revolting as the rest do Actually, chicken livers are much smaller so would probably be easier to handle than the whacking great lumps of lamb's liver I have in the fridge!

Am still hyperventilating at the thought of having to snip out nerves ... am beginning to think that feeding it to the cat is probably the most sensible idea!

Ooh, me working class roots are obviously well hidden then ...

Do I really have to snip nerves, do you know? That's even more revolting than I thought it was going to be.

Offal is (or was until recently) very fashionable in middle class circles. I'm shocked you didn't know that Fio.

Oxtail is particularly aspirational.

SOrry WWB, I cna't remember how to cook it but Liver and bacon with some luvverly mash and gravy is very nice. I think you roll it in seasoned flour and then just lightly fry (bacon and onions already in the pan)

I was taught how to make it at my Grammar school no less
