Can you cook beetroot in the oven?

You can put it in a tin foil parcel with olive oil and what ever seasoning you want, such as balsamic vinegar, garlic and herbs. Bake in a high oven for about an hour. My dh says its delicious - i hate beetroot so can't comment!

peel after cooking once they have cooled down.

best under running tap to reduce stain potential.

No - ideally you want small ones about the size of a golf ball. If not - cut them up. (Make sure you scrub them though).

I peel and quarter mine under running water and then roast for 40-60 mins in a hot oven.

Delicious with feta... And other roast veg,

As I had started - I'll get them out the oven and cut them up

Then drizzel on some olive oil

I'll start like that

I normally boil for about 3 days

& can't help but feel that there must be a better way
