Veg boxes - worth it? what about fruit?

Thinking of getting organic veg boxes and maybe fruit. Those who get them - are they worth it? How do you find the cost compares to say Tesco? I am worried about getting a box full of wizened potatos and kale and ending up with a fridge full of waste.

I live in Gloucestershire - anyone used Cotswold Organics or any other recommendations?

Ta!

I used to get one and found that I liked the idea of them more than the reality. Perhaps I was unlucky but it was very variable quality. I do keep meaning to try again as I think there is a greater choice of services these days.

Cost is generally equal to or slightly cheaper than buying organic/premium ranges from supermarkets, but obviously way more expensive than standard supermarket stuff.

You get very good at making soup from leftovers.
