i think i did that last time, and from what i remember it was okay. we ate it !!

I think it will be OK - maybe not as crispy round the edges?

hmm might not rise very well, but should be edible.

The bad news when I did this........

......it was completely flat - definitely lancashire biscuits.

The good news........

....it was still tasty.

It was fine The 2 eggs must have helped.

I never have any luck with Toad in the Hole, as the bottom never sets - hot fat or not.
