Hi all
I've been away for a while but have a problem so I'm craftily sneaking back in!
My DD (shes 1 on 17th June) has decided to stop eating over the last few days, so I left her with some toast this morning and she wolfed it down so I've decided she must want to feed herself.

Anyone got any ideas/tips about what to give her (which is still healthy!?!)

Thank you

Bagels are good.

Smoked salmon is easy to finger feed

Potato wedges?

Have a look at the weaning threads, there's loads there.

Ds loves raisins, grapes (I slice them in half), banana, rice cakes, cereal bars (although they are quite high in sugar).

In fact, I think it is Aitch who has a great website, it helped me loads and which would be really helpful for you no doubt. Hopefully she will see this and link you to it.

Tinned peach slices, pear quarters, steamed green beans, steamed baby sweetcorn, breadsticks, pasta twirls with pesto or tomato sauce, grated cheese over the top.

if she wants to feed herself then just go with it. give her a sandwich for lunch, whatever really. anything can be finger food, other than soup maybe, but you can dip bread in that.
