Got some new potatoes I would like to roast, thinking part boil - then chuck in preheated roasting tin with oil, and some herbs?

any other suggestions?

Great! That means I can come too.

I'm on my way, and I like my gravy thick, like my men

Oh and I didn't read the OP properly first time, obviously MY earlier tip was for normal pots not new ones

Ahem...are you insinuating friend's brother is idea thieving rip off merchant or just that Saint Delia is only person alive to have thought of this....

kookaburra · 21/05/2007 17:56

Roast is easier than pasta.
Preheat oven to 220, put potatoes in microwave for 5 mins, then in pan with already heated goose fat fro 30 mins.
Soft on inside, crispy on the outside.
