Turnips - what'd you do with them?

DH & I were just chatting as you do. I mentioned we had half a swede left, which made me mention turnips
Neither of us has had one for many a year, and if we happened to aquire one - what the hell do we do with it???

I mash it, with any other appropriate root veg, and lots of butter and salt and so on.

i like them raw

So like I did tonight with potato, swede & carrot.

put it into a stew with loads of other root veg.

Cool, just treat it as a 'normal' root veggie. We like stews and soups, so we could do that then if we do get a turnip
