Today I happily sat and let my 3yr old DS have pepsi and KFC Popcorn Chicken........

and chips for his dinner !

But you know what I don't care today - he's really under the weather with the chickenpox (unlike DS1 who sailed through them) and DH and I have struggled to get anything more than a few TINY sips of squash down him all day (despite being offered 4 different flavours of squash, apple juice, orange juice, water, and even chocolate milkshake he refused them all) - DH decided to spend the vouchers he got from work getting KFC/Pizza Hut takeaway for dinner - and it included Pepsi........DS2 wanted some - and drank 2 (small) glasses.....

Usually DH and I point blank refuse to let him drink fizzy drinks but tonight gave him as much as he wanted.

Mind you we also told him to make the most of it as once he's better he'll be back to weak squash and apple juice

Good for you. I bet he LOVED it.

Aww - your poor DS.

At the moment I'd be pleased if my DS ate that as well.

He's had a throat infection which we thought had cleared up with antibiotics but it seems to be back again and now he has horrendous mouth ulcers and oral thrush.

Only thing he's eaten today - ice-cream

It's horrible when they're ill isn't it.

awww Jones at least he ate something - and the way I see it - when they're ill it doesn't matter what they eat as long as they get something in their tummys - hope your DS is better soon.

I often have cola if my tummy is upset - I find it often settles it. Hope you ds is better soon.
