Noodles instead of pasta

Ok, I did something really odd today. Instead of pasta, which I didn't have any of, I used noodles in a recipe for my 9 month old. I figure it's all the same...Marco Polo going to China eating noodles taking them back to Italy and all of that. The noodles were cooked with milk, broccoli, cheese and ham.
So I was just wondering if there is actually a problem with it at all. I mean what do I know - I'm just a mum!

no problem at all

only thing to be aware of is some noodles have egg in (which not all pasta does) in case you are avoiding them cause of allergies.

Thanks for that. These noodles did contain egg, but as neither my husband nor I have any allergies I don't think there will be any problems - I hope!

Anyway baby boy didn't eat it. He doesn't seem to like my cooking and prefers anything from a jar Very fustrating.

give up cooking things for him and give him scraps off your plate to eat in his fingers?
less effort -> less frustrating when he doesn't eat it
so long as he's getting lots of milk it's not worth getting het up about how much food he's having yet.

Thanks for your support. It's psychological - if he doesn't eat it worries me. Also as he isn't eating well during the day he wakes up hungry several times in the night. I bring him into our bed and he latches on while I get a couple of zzz's.

Think I will take your advice and try more finger foods.
