organic or more natural cake/biscuit decorations? Do they exist?

The supermarkets always have loads of cake decorating stuff, mini icing tubes, barbie sprinkles etc for kids but bizarrely it never seems to be organic.
Some report came out last week saying that they have found a link between certain E numbers and hyperactivity etc, and although I generally avoid stuff with E numbers I've always made an exception for party stuff. But now my eldest has started school there's a party at least every month. That's a lot of e numbers!
There must be other mums out there who would love more natural or organic versions... but maybe it's out there and I just don't know about it? Has anyone found better alternatives?

YOu can get "natural" glace cherries. Haven't tried them though.

I often make cornflake cakes with raisins and chopped up dried apricots, dried cranberries etc in. They always seem to go down well.

Green and Blacks do a cooking chocolate now.
