ihmo neither will do him that much good...
..but if thats the choice then the first one..

porridge...?

Nemo2007 · 11/05/2007 11:27

suzy he is a nightmare to gewt to eat anything slightly healthy. He probably wouldnt have porridge he will have weetabix but tends to pile half a ton of sugar on it

tell him to eat the lot at once. If he doesn't care, why would he assume anyone else does?

suzycreamcheese · 11/05/2007 11:31

...then he cant go out to play then!

what about chopping up loads of banana on said weetabix, much better than frosties...

porridge etc has slow release keeps you going for longer, dont knw the science but think a mars bar will just give shugar hit then nought to keep you going...marginally better than nothing though...

scrambled egg??? imake a mean one...

Hassled · 11/05/2007 11:32

There must be some nutritional content in Bovril - I'd go with the former. Tell him to expect early-onset diabetes any time soon .

Suggests he has frosties, toast and bovril now and mars bar in about an hour when he's hungry again! Thats what I'm going to do anyway!!

suzycreamcheese · 11/05/2007 11:40

little lapin..she cares cause its the daddy to her kids and will affect their diet too...

maureenmlove..meantto say before mlove the name...

sunnysideup · 11/05/2007 11:46

I would have thought it was better to have the weetabix with sugar than any of that lot!

pmsl he is wanting to loose weight but is a stubborn git! He has been lathargic, depressed and moody and it is all mainly due to weight. I am very overweight but dont eat all the crap he does.

The list in OP is his favoured 'snack' list

OP posts:
Dropside · 11/05/2007 11:55

tell him to go for a walk instead

Nemo2007 · 11/05/2007 11:55

btw I did know littlelapin was joking as shes sooo luverlyy..lol

Nemo2007 · 11/05/2007 11:56

I did suggest that dropside but he said he was too tired. We have argued over the fact on his days off he doesnt want to do anything with the family where I take the kids to the park etc at least twice a week.

I can remember my little sister went through a stage of asking things like "Would you rather be eaten by a crocodile or run over by a tank?". This question makes about as much sense.

SweetyDarling · 11/05/2007 11:57

Nemo, if you didn't buy any of those things would he go out and get them himself?
