I have started cooking most things from scratch i.e lasagne, curry, pies etc.

Boys get loads of veg and fruit on a day and also the ones that are "hidden"

We are pretty stressed all the time hubby and I trying to juggle the boys, hozzy appts etc.

Should I now start making bread fresh on a daily basis or keep buying shop bought?

What do you reckon?

If you really want to bake your own bread how about a breadmaker? You can control salt/sugar and you can set the timer so it can be baking whilst you are out or overnight. I got the panasonic one about 5 years ago and it is fantastic. It has really come down in price too since I bought mine. I'm sure there are lots of other good models also. We have at least one meal a week of freshly baked bread, fruit, cheese, meat etc

Second that, it's all very well being supermum, but you sound like you'd be more of a knackeredmum if you do anymore!

Breadmaker is a great idea. IF you can't stretch to that, I wouldn't worry too much if it would cause hassle for you to do it. I find baking very therapeutic, would rather bake than watch TV! but if thats not you, don't worry about it.

thanx for your inout folks

think it would deffo be a breadmaker job if i do this.

Just unsure whether doing home cooked bread would be better or worse ie would mummy eat it all hot and be none left so would have to go to the shops anyway lol

Hot bread very bad for you!!! I'll give you indigestion straight away....but the thought of it with butter melting and jam is just too much isn't it!
