DD (8) had dough balls, margherita pizza, small portion of cucumber and cherry toms, toffee ice-cream (posh stuff) with real toffee pieces (was delicious at I "stole" some ) and a bambicino (milky froth with chocolate sprinkled on top) all for £5.25.

She loved it all and felt very grown up

Her and Ds (he only ate doughballs!) loved the colouring/entertainment pack they were given too.

I'd heard Giraffe wasn't that good, but I might try it now. Do thaey put ice in the childrens drinks like Pizza Express do? That always really bugs me. And the glasses are so tall!

Yes excellent.
I buy it regularly.
I like canned food.Reassuringly old fashioned.

WideWebWitch · 07/05/2007 21:07

I love PE.

that sounds brilliant. until now we've just given dd food from our plates but she's such a greedy beggar (wonder who she might have inherited that from?) that she's impinging on our own portion size... a large, reasonably priced children's serving should give us something to pick at too...

I've always found pizza express good for kids. I can't imagine wanting to go there child free it seems mostly full of families. They do a mini version of every type I think, and most like pizza and garlic bread don't they? In fact, if we ever have takeaway we go there to collect it too, or rather, I send dh out to collect it!

Also send him to get the Indians and Thai too, the best places never deliver.
