They both look lovely, esp the first one. Might try that out on some girlfriends soon

NadineBaggott · 05/05/2007 17:30

mmmmmm now that one does look yummy

might try that one, I just happen to have some leg chops

NadineBaggott · 05/05/2007 17:31

I'll have to use ordinary pesto though.

I've just uprooted a forest of mint from the garden

PeterAndreFanCLub · 05/05/2007 17:32

hmm not sure whether to do the pseto this time or just mash up some shop stuff

OP posts:
NadineBaggott · 05/05/2007 17:34

oh I'll be using shop bought, why not?!

NadineBaggott · 05/05/2007 17:35

that salad is great done with broad beans rather than peas around this time of year.

NadineBaggott · 05/05/2007 17:47

Whoooosh · 08/05/2007 15:59

Tried it on Sunday and it was Deeelicious.

Mind you ,I love mint and offten add it to "normal" salads.

PedroPony · 08/05/2007 15:59

oh god is it? yum yum

Whoooosh · 08/05/2007 16:01

Oh yes-just blardy lovely.

Def best with loin fillet though-had some neck fillet to use as well and the loin was way better.

Whoooosh · 08/05/2007 16:03

Oh and I also blanched the peas for about 90 secs as they weren't petit pois..

Mercy · 08/05/2007 16:04

Oooooooooooh, it's asparagus time!

Whoooosh · 08/05/2007 16:08

Funnily did baked asparagus with parmesan as a topping for a salad last night-scrummy and the easiest thing in the world.

PedroPony · 08/05/2007 16:08

sih it ont he lambad nad feta thign
mroe detail

PedroPony · 08/05/2007 16:08

love sparagus too

Whoooosh · 08/05/2007 16:13

Barbecued the fillet just because like you-gas is the way to go.

Brilliant recipe and one I shall be re0using for the Summer.

Reckon Chump chops would be almost as tender as the loin fillet.

PedroPony · 08/05/2007 16:17

great god i WISH we were habign it tonight

PedroPony · 08/05/2007 16:18

this is tonights

Whoooosh · 08/05/2007 16:35

Won't join you on that one given I don't like chilli or ginger but you have to try the lamb and mint one.

Waitrose also do some really nice kettle type yoghurt cucumber and mint crisps-surprisingly nice.
