Marmite?

Can you give an 8 month old marmite or is it too salty? And what about shop-bought homous - too salty?

It does have a lot of salt, but I only scraped a bit on toast for my DD. I also bought the healthy version of shop houmous so it was slightly less salt than normal, but again, if you aren't giving them ladlefuls of it it shouldn't be too much of an issue!

when ds was younger (and would touch marmite), i mixed it with a bit of hot water and put it on toast (or you can do that and then 'bake' the toast fingers for a few minutes)
