bon maman cookbook - does it exist? if so I need to buy it urgently!

No luck with google and Amazon, tried different spellings of the title, but cannot find info on this cookery book anywhere.

We told my MIL we'd get it for her as her belated birthday present. She told us the spelling is correct and described the book - red cover, printed sometime after the second world war. A classic french cookery book, she said.

As we are already one day late in visiting her, due to car problems, I would really love to tell her the book is on it's way.... pleas, please can someone tell me where I can find a copy!!

I meant to add - I don't think you can order on-line, but you could give them a call to see if they know of the book. HTH.

I queried here in the states on Amazon and didn't come up with anyting either..very strange. I tried!

I tried it on the French Amazon site and nothing there either. Sorry!

I think MIL will have to revise the accuracy of her information. For such a classic book, it's very unknown. Ever since we found FIL some obscure poetry books on Amazon, I think the inlaws believe we have the knack if magic-ing up any book they half remember.
