Ok this is how I do it.

In one pan brown mince. Remove excess fat. Add onion ,garlic and mushrooms if you like them. Then add either tinned tomatoes or a jar or dolmio or similar.

In 2nd pan make a white sauce. Melt nob of butter, add spoonfull of flour, mix together. Add milk a little at a time so you don't get lumps. keep going till you have what looks like enough sauce. This takes practice. You work out in the end how much you need after a couple of goes. Grate as much cheese as you like into it.

Then layer it all up. I do mince, bit of cheese sauce then lasagne sheets and repeat 3 times.

Last layer just cheese sauce. Grate cheese on top.

Oven for about 35 mins. 200 ish.

Yummy!!!

Hi, here's a quick(ish) recipe that doesn't need a sauce.

Fry onion, green pepper, garlic and celery (all chopped finely) until softened.
Add mince and brown
Add salt, pepper, basil, oregano and a tin of tomatoes.
Let simmer until sauce boils down
Then add half teaspoon of nutmeg.

Layer the mince and lasagne sheets-all I do is put a layer of mozzarella and parmesan (and/or other cheeses) between each layer and shove into oven! You can also add a little double cream to each layer and it works really well.)

Promise you, it's lovely

Seriously quick version:

Brown mince. Stir in large tin of Heinz oxtail soup.

Cheese sauce as described.

Layer, bake, enjoy.

to make one that is really low fat....

dont use any oil to fry mince, sweat with onions instead.

Add carrots and mushrooms, garlic, tin of toms, oregano and tom puree.

and to make cheese sauce use skimmed milk and very very low fat cheese.

it's still tastes very nice and very low fat!

Mine varies depending on what I've got. Ideally I would brown some mince, with onion, garlic, mushrooms and finely chopped courgettes, add some tinned tomatoes and some freshly chopped tomatoes, and some Italian herbs, simmer for half an hour. For the sauce I either use a Dolmio ready made one or make one with milk and cornflour, then add grated cheese. Depends how much time I've got. Layering, I put a little sauce in the base of the dish, then mince, pasta, sauce, ending with sauce. Grate cheddar cheese and bread crumbs over the top to give a really crunchy topping and cook for half an hour at 180.

My DP puts bacon and salami or chorizo in his and it's delicious.
