white lasagne sauce recipe pse

just had tesco delivery. realised forgot lasagne sauce. can't be bothered to go out. have sworn i would never make the sauce for a lasagne but now needs must.

i make white sauce often. i know lasagne one should have garlic and or onion, but don't know much else..

can you give me instructions and quantities for a lasagne that makes 6 generous portions please?

I just do normal white sauce when I do lasagne. Although I do add cheese to it. If you have onion and garlic in with the mince surely it won't matter if its not in the sauce?

I always do plain cheese sauce for a lasagne. Don't think it needs onion or garlic in it, tbh.

I often use Delia's recipe - it does for 6.

1 and quarter pt milk, 3oz butter, 2oz plain flour, 3fl oz double cream freshly grated nutmeg, saly an freshly milled pepper.

milk, butter, flour into saucepan, whisk over gentle heat ubtil simmers and thickens. Turn heat as low as poss and cook for 10 mins more. Sieve into bowl (I often don't bother unless lumpy), beat in cream, season and grate in quarter of whole nutmeg (i taste and don't always put in as much as this, see what you think)

Hope all well with you guys. Dd has now done 2 nights in a big bed and is loving it, not too stressful so far thank goodness. Counting down the final weeks til this bump puts in an appearance. Hope to catch up soon.
