is it as simple as shredded veg in mayo??? anyone got a yummy recipe??

basically yes, and dh adds wholegrain mustard to his

Shredded carrot and white cabbage. Dh adds a little olive oil and a little raw crushed garlic and it is yummy! Like the idea of wholegrain mustard though...

so grated carrot and white cabbage with mayo mixed with some yoghurt and mustard. Do i need to put anything else in it??

bit of onion if you want. Or raw parsnip is rather nice.

will have to make some the weekend and experiment with it. We're having a bbq party for ds's birthdays and though I would make coleslaw rather then buy a tub.

a bit of honey is nice too. i use 2/3rds greek yog, 1/3rd mayo and sometimes a bit of cider vinegar.

half red cabbage, half white cabbage, carrots, (red onion optional).

Sauce is really to taste, butw e like: bit more than a 1/2 cup yoghurt, 1/2 cup mayo, 1 or 2 tablespoons vinegar (cider, white or even red as you like), 1-2 tbls ketcup, bit of worchester sauce, teaspoon sugar (!!!). Salt and pepper.

much better than bought coleslaw!

fennel is nice in it too....
