Had a migraine last night and am starving today. Am craving stodge but want to avoid too much sugar.

have eaten two slices of malt loaf and two bananas and an apple

what can I eat today that will make me feel satisfied, nurtured and comforted?

have you not even got some eggs and chorizo like on the adverts?

some porridge oats with apple and raisins in?

a banana sandwich?

what about that Pasta Del Olio (sp?) thing? you basically cook a bit of garlic, make some pasta and then shove it all together and stuff some parsley in

doesn't matter if there is no parsley. You must have pasta and garlic?

dh was a bit about it but I pointed out it is a classic recipe...

Can you eat squirrel, or other woodland creature?

Domestic wildlife lacking in understanding of commerce and catering outlets imo.

Stupid feckers.

Ok Chicken Soup

1 Whole Chicken (Melsy uses Kosher Chicken and she says its a bit sweeter)
6 carrots, cut in half
2-3 parsnips, cut in half
Swede, cut into big chunks
1 onion, whole, skin on.
1 Chicken stock cube
Noodles, as many as you need.

  1. Cut the chicken into quarters and add to a big pot. Add 4 and half litres of water and bring to the boil. As boiling, skim off all the frothy scum. As much as possible so that it is a clear liquid.

  2. Once all skimmed, add the stock cube, carrots, parsnips, swede and onion. Then bring to the boil again. Turn down low and simmer for 2-3 hours.

  3. After simmering, remove the chicken, shred and put back into the pot

  4. Serve with cooked noodles and put into soup.

Boil spaghetti

onion, chop up, throw into wok with a bit of garlic, sprinkle on some paprika, fry till soft, add tin of toms, let it reduce and then throw on spinach.

Voila!

Nbg · 02/05/2007 12:15

No leave the veg in and scoop out what you want.

Enid · 02/05/2007 12:16

OP posts:
Nbg · 02/05/2007 12:18

Oh its good.
Especially if you let the tomatoes simmer enough.

You could add anything you wanted to that really.
I normally do it with mushrooms and courgettes.

motherinferior · 02/05/2007 12:18

Buy sardines. Nice ones. Eat on toast. Easy. Will boost serotonin levels and all sorts of things.

Enid · 02/05/2007 12:19
