Cookies on sticks - how do you make them?

Fancy making chocolate chip cookies on sticks for the sale at ds's schol next week. But haven't a clue on best kind of recipe for this.
Anyone know?

I think you just make normal cookies but stick a lolly stick in them before you bake them. Soak the sticks in water first though so they don't burn/dry out.
And send me some in the post!
