Thanks LittleLapin. I used to buy fishcakes from the supermarket, but since DD's diagnosis I've been checking labels and they all say they contain dairy Anyway, it's a lot better for DD (and me) to have home cooked anyway

PS - well done on all the money raised so far for Mile for Maude. As the 12th is DD's first birthday, she and I will be taking a mile walk together in the park so that I can contemplate how blessed I am. DH & I will then make a contribution on DD's behalf!

If you need some bought ones for a quick standby any time, I'm 99% certain that one of the M&S ones is dairy free, but I can't remember which variety it is - possibly the salmon ones.

Tis very annoying all the products that have dairy in unnecessarily.

Same as lapin, but we usually use salmon or other oily fish and fry it gently first, then flake and add spud and finely chopped spring onions. Def no dairy necessary!

Could also try tuna meatballs as recommended by Cod - leave out the cheese.

Thanks all!
