Chocolate Fountain question

DaisyMOO · 28/04/2007 17:44

We're doing a chocolate fountain for dd's birthday party tomorrow (I know, I know, 3 and 4 year olds and a chocolate fountain, I must be mad )

I've just been reading the instructions and it says to use 2 x 900g of chocolate which seems like a helluva lot Do you really need that much or will it run with less? I don't want to waste it

"I don't want to waste it" yeah, like it'll be wasted

No, you really need it. And make sure you use the right amount of oil (I assume it says to add vegetable oil) otherwise it will be too thick for it to work properly.

By the way, they WILL stick their hands into it. And possibly their heads. I have seen adults do that .

Thanks, I've sent dh out for it. I hope Sainsbury's will have that much at this time on a Saturday night!

Unknownrebelbang you are more than welcome to come if you'll help me control the chocolate-fest. I'm guessing that it might not be a good idea to let them back on the bouncy castle afterwards
