It's certainly filling, but is it healthy, or is it pork making?

It was recommended to me by a GP when I went with possible menopausal symptoms, if that helps at all.

I should think it is just as fattening as any other brown bread, but I don't know...

no idea how healthy, but it's bloody lovely!

Mercy · 27/04/2007 19:21

Don't know re fattening but it is very nice iirc.

DG, I think I'll have to buy some in that case

DumbledoresGirl · 27/04/2007 19:22

Aww no surely not Mercy!

Mercy · 27/04/2007 19:25

I think so. Night sweats started about a month ago, plus a few panic attacks. Periods have been a bit irregular for about a year now.

Bugger!

That is not much fun Mercy. Well, I was recommended the Burgen and also some herbal pills - forget what now. I still have a blister pack of them but when I went to look at the name of them, it just says "sainsbury menopause tablets" which doesn't tell you what is in them, but I know it was what the GP told me to look out for.

I saw a friend eating it and thought 'that looks seedy and tasty'.

I bought some but I didn't like it. Oily. Lacking in salt maybe.
