Help me come up with food ideas for an informal family lunch (salad/buffet stuff)

Saturday lunchtime, going shopping tomorrow.
The eaters will be 3 (possibly 6) adults (one of whom is pg so can't eat lots of things) and 4 children (ages 1, 3, 5, 7). I want things that can be prepared in advance and plonked on the table at lunchtime.

Will include:
salad (but the children won't touch that)
pizza slices (for non salad eating children)
crisps
ham, smoked salmon etc
cheese on sticks (tis a birthday party)
strawberries (only thing the 5 year old eats)
chocolate pudding of some sort
birthday cake

What can I add to this to make it a bit more interesting?

Pork pie
Quiche
French stick
Humous
Veggie sticks
Veggie sausage rolls
Melon balls on sticks are good too.

Brilliant! Was trying to do a shopping list and feeling stumped (too much wine not helping).
I could make sauasge rolls (prob. not veggie ones though)

This one always goes down well at birthdays were there are adults and is easy and yum.

Get a pack or two of cream cheese and empty out onto a plate or shallow bowl. Try to get it to keep its shape. Mould it if need be.

Pour over a jar of chilli dipping sauce, preferably not to sweet with bits in.

Chop up a bunch of coriander and sprinkle over the top.

Serve with oat cakes, crackers, tortilla chips to dip into the cheese and sauce.
