silly question - can i reheat mash potato?

I will be doing bangers and mash for us all but DS eats at 5 as DH and I eat when he gets home at 7.30. Could I make the mash all at once then just reheat ours?

Also, you can fry mashed potato in butter! Tastes really good with sausages and greens!
