Chilli Porridge Anyone????????????????????????????????????????????

Ds tucked into his cinnamon & apple porridge with gusto.....only to start howling & pulling at his tongue.
Realised....having sampled a spoonful that I had in fact made chilli & apple porridge

I'm a mean mean Mamma ....
will he ever trust me again?

Ooooops!

He did gobble down his lunch without looking at me like
............so I cant have scarred him that badly...........sniff

.....it was blardy hot

Sounds like he'll grow up to be a curry lover

It's just as well he's not a picky eater!

How on earth did you confuse cinnamon and chilli?

I've done similar, mixing up our food and the kids. The poor boys kept spitting bits out lookign disgusted, it wasn't til they were nearly finished I realised they were spitting out chopped chillis. I ended up giving them lots of icecream for dessert!

All my herbs/spices are in old french pots...all look the same....was on the phone to delivery guys & absent mindedly picked up the chilli instead..
