QUICK! -any idea how long blamange takes to set?

not made it for ages adn children want to make it and have it for tea - are we talking hours or days???

You don't have to wait for it to set before eating it - we never do.

But I think it takes about an hour or two.

What exactly is blancmange, and do you make yours yourself or is it bought from a shop?

I make mine myself, but you can buy the powder in shops.

I got some in sainsburys at the weekend.
