Cooked one yesterday for exactly 2 hours on 180. We like it a bit pink tho, so you may want to check it at 2 hours to see if its ok for you.

fryalot · 23/04/2007 12:55

180 degrees, 20 mins per pound, plus 20 mins..... so

1 hour, 40 mins (should be a bit pink in the middle, if you want it darker, cook for an extra 20 mins)

MamaG · 23/04/2007 12:56

depends on teh age of the lamb.

A newborn lamb would probably be about 8 inches long.

An Old lamb maybe 16 inches?

Leander · 23/04/2007 12:56

thanks will check after 2hrs i dont like pink meat so maybe a bit longer.

MamaG · 23/04/2007 12:58

sorry

I'm incredibly childish today!

fryalot · 23/04/2007 12:58
Wink
princesscc · 23/04/2007 13:00

I know what you mean, I sometimes get this overwelming desire to post really inappropriate notes on all the threads with silly titles!

Leander · 23/04/2007 13:01

Im not brave enough to post i just giggle to myself like some sad loon

OP posts:
MamaG · 23/04/2007 13:02

oh you should, its funny, i do it often

fryalot · 23/04/2007 13:02

but what if you offend someone?

fryalot · 23/04/2007 13:03

I mean irreversibly offend them?

MamaG · 23/04/2007 13:03

then you say sorry of course!

I wouldn't post something nasty. Although i di once answer "yes" to loads of AIBU threads without reaidng htemn and had to backtrack wildly later!!

MamaG · 23/04/2007 13:04

oh no have I offended you Squonk?!

princesscc · 23/04/2007 13:06

I've never upset anyone, but one I did it to, clearly thought I was being very childish and I could just tell in her response to me that she was tutting and shaking her head!

fryalot · 23/04/2007 13:08

you haven't offended me, mamaG

I just don't quite have the confidence to actually put what I sometimes want to. Because I know that what I'm wanting to post is just because I find it funny

MamaG · 23/04/2007 13:09

squonk feel free to post on my weird ponce thread hehehe

I never take offence

snigger at pcc, i feel that too sometimes

princesscc · 23/04/2007 13:13

Thats the problem isn't it? Just because you think its funny, other people might not. My one was 'Has anyone been to see a chiropractor with a bad back?' I fort the urge all day, but in the end I just has to reply - 'well, if he's got a bad back, he can't be very good then, can he!' Now, at the time, I thought it was funny and even I'm not that impressed now

MamaG · 23/04/2007 13:16

I would have laughed at that

fryalot · 23/04/2007 13:34

I would have laughed at that, but would never have had the nerve to post it, in case the op came back at me to say that she was in desperate need of some advice, not frivolity.....

Of course, if the op did come back like that, it would just show she didn't have a sense of humour.
