mealtime dilemma

Please help! My ds is 10 months old and has his tea at 5pm, bath at 6pm and bed at 7pm. My p doesn't get home from work until around 6pm. I am looking for some (quick) meals that I could cook for us which my ds can eat with me at 5pm and my p can reheat later that evening. Any tips/ideas much appreciated please.

Any kind of casserole - although you have to start early, they don't take much prep (can even be done during nap time) and don't suffer for long/re-cooking.
Likewise, baked potatoes - which aren't great when re-heated, but my dh doesn't complain.
fish pie (white fish and leek in cheese sauce, topped with breadcrumbs or mash)
shepherds pie
spag bol

I'm looking down my list here (sad, aren't I?) and there are a few more, but they're specific recipes iyswim. General theme would be some kind of meat in a sauce; or pasta in a tomato-based sauce. Cream sauces aren't good reheated.

Ds2 is 8 months and is honestly eating whatever we eat. (Even chinese takeaway once )

Thanks for that. This has been doing my head in as I want to have a different meal each night of the week but something that is easy and can use whatever we have in stock (which your suggestions do). I'll have to see how many different casseroles I can find as I have a slow cooker which would make life much easier. Mind you, we wouldn't want a casserole in the middle of summertime. I never thought I'd stuggle so much with all of this. Your fish pie sounds quick and good so I'll definately try that.
